We are pleased to announce that the planning application for St Michael’s Glebe, a new residential scheme on Ashford Road in St Michaels, near Tenterden, has now been formally submitted to Ashford Borough Council.
Appointed by the Diocese of Canterbury, Urban & Rural has developed a carefully considered proposal for 15 new homes on the Rectory’s Glebe field. The design has been informed by the site’s sensitive context, including its proximity to ancient woodland and surrounding landscape, and reflects our collaborative approach to residential and masterplanning projects.
This submission marks an important milestone in progressing the proposal through the planning process. If approved, the development will enable the Diocese to realise the value of the land in a way that supports essential maintenance and investment in its wider estate.
Urban & Rural looks forward to working with the Council and project partners as the application is considered, and to supporting the delivery of high-quality housing that responds sensitively to local character and context.
