APPROVED at Planning, 34 new homes in Capel-le-Ferne

Architects, Urban and Rural, working with Hume Planning have secured outline planning for a residential development on a very complex and controversial site.

Previous applications and appeals by others had been rejected and dismissed.

The illustrative design Urban and Rural have produced, sensitively tackled all the issues the site has; including a number of ecological conditions such as three badger setts and pathways through the site.

The Consultant Team engaged with the local community and good points were raised at the public consultation event we held. As a result of this public event, good local knowledge of the site was understood, and an additional investigation was commissioned. As an outcome, four deep borehole soakaways were designed for the site which created challenges for the design team to overcome.

Our client, the site owner, now looks forward to selling the site with consent.
