Project Overview
This project was a team effort by the practice, from the initial stages to the project’s completion. We assisted our client right from the initial site appraisal before the site was purchased, assembled the full consultant team, and took the project through to the tendering stage. Additionally, we are proud to announce that the Oscar Innovation Centre has been awarded the prestigious Green Plaque, recognising its outstanding environmental performance and sustainability.
Planning & Strategy
Our design work included comprehensive technical detailing and bespoke elements, such as the staircase and custom furniture pieces. These unique features highlight our commitment to innovation and quality in every aspect of the build. We managed the detailed design package, working closely with project manager Alastair Clark and the main contractor, WW Martin. This collaboration ensured every detail was meticulously planned and executed.
Outcome
A successful completion of the building, which our client now enjoys. A big thank you to Ben Hancock, Managing Director of Oscar Acoustics, for being an exceptional client, and to all the specialist consultants and trades on site who contributed to the successful delivery of this project.

More Info About the Green Plaque
The Green Plaque newbuild assessment promotes good environmental practices in the industry. It is a third-party review administered by Lifecycle Design and peer-reviewed to ensure accuracy. The aim is to recognize and support a scheme’s sustainability credentials with evidence, highlighting strengths and suggesting improvements for future projects.
