Whitfield, Dover

Urban and Rural worked as part of a team for a speculative landowner/developer. The project has now received outline approval, as well as an approved detailed Reserved Matters application for 28 new homes.

The site was categorized as a protected open space by Dover District Council with a combination of a partial blanket TPO over part of the site with nearly 1000 trees to manage, as well as many ecological constraints. The team at Urban and Rural, along with specialist consultants, sensitively addressed all the issues to progress the project to the approval that will now allow the development to progress.
