Volks Farmers

Urban & Rural have worked with Volks Farmers, a specialist Classic VW restoration facility, to develop a scheme for the conversion of a redundant agricultural building into a state-of-the-art rural business.

The business, based on the family’s farm, has grown over recent years and now has a six-month waiting list for their specialist service.

Urban & Rural set out a needs case to justify the development in the rural location – in addition to the research and preparation of a historic statement of significance as the farm house was a Grade II Listed, Medieval Hall House.

The scheme secured full planning consent from Shepway District Council.
