The New Yard, Willow Farm

The New Yard, Willow Farm is an approved scheme for a new farm yard.

Urban & Rural were appointed to set out the case for the proposed erection of three large new agricultural buildings. The need to move the heart of the farm came from the increased use of the indoor sand school with young riders and the clash between the day-to-day running of a commercial farm.

Urban & Rural worked with the farm to define a needs case to justify the application. Based on this, an assessment was carried out to the best location to locate the new yard.

The scheme was classed as a ‘Large Major Development’ and approved by Swale Borough Council.
