North Sea Cottage

North Sea Cottage is located within the heavily protected Conservation Area of Whitstable. The mid- terrace house sits looking out over the beach to the North Sea. This project is a great example of the wide range of schemes we have been commissioned on.

The client required conservation area planning consent to remove the poor quality UPVC double glazed windows that had now outlived their life expectancy.

Urban & Rural proposed to recreate the original sash windows seen in many of the existing properties in the terrace. This required securing Conservation Area planning consent and the production of large scale joinery details in order to gain consent.
